Product Description

The large clump forming, almost triangular leaves of this Balkan native make a striking base for many long spires with hundreds of white-streaked, violet-blue blooms. Robust flower stems arch gracefully above the light green foliage, which lies close to the ground.

Herbaceous perennial hardy from zones 4 – 9, 24 – 36 inches tall – space 36 – 48 inches apart, great for attracting pollinators. Prefers at least 6 hours of sun per day, regular well drained soil. Will tolerate mild drought once established. Blooms late spring to mid-summer.

Start seeds in early spring indoors or direct sow when ground can be worked.
Approximately 30 seeds per package
