An English heirloom variety, great for overwintering. Produces lots of purple broccoli sprouts in the spring. Grows slowly through the winter; very frost hardy. A great variety that is often hard to find. Sow in late summer for February to March harvest – or start early indoors for early summer harvest, this variety produces more side shoots after a cold snap. Steam or enjoy raw. Once main head is cut, harvest side shoots for several weeks.
Approximatley 1/2 teaspoon of Heirloom/Organic seeds per package 50+ seeds.
