An old-time favorite heirloom. Good yields with excellent-tasting, rich, orange-colored flesh. Excellent for baking and making soup!
Fruits are 3-6 pounds and exceptional keepers for winter storage.  85-100 days for maturity.

Direct sow seeds 1/2″ deep in fertile soil in spring when the soil is warm, full sun. Plant in hills so vines can trail or give lot’s or space. In cooler areas start indoors 2 – 3 weeks prior to transplant.
